Wednesday is my day to walk the girls. Sushi pulled a bit, Cookie’s getting slower. Her hips have always been a bit wonky. Put a doggy aspirin in her breakfast, hope it takes away a little pain.

Start the laundry. Yesterday’s grocery receipts, wallet and pocketknife thrown on the bed, last night’s bourbon tumbler and cookie napkin still resting on the end table. I’m wearing jogging pants, a cardigan and three days worth of stubble on my cheeks.
At this point in my life, I think my list would include Padma Lakshmi, Tracee Ellis Ross, Alison Brie, Gal Godot, and Eliza Coupe. I’ve kind of got a thing got Jameela Jamil too. Progressive runner up is, of course, AOC.
That was a list of people I’m inviting to join my book club, btw. What did you think I was talking about?
A late lunch of shredded cabbage stir fried with some snapped green pepper pieces (no need to be fancy - title of my sex tape) and some diced chicken breast (baked yesterday) seasoned with teriyaki, ginger, sirracha and a pinch of salt.
Might be out if work for a while again, waiting to find out (thanks COVID) (rather, thanks all you dumb motherfuckers who can’t just stay the fuck home).
Might be all caught up with homework for the week, and it’s a weird feeling. How do I amuse myself without feeling lazy? I could probably do some cleaning, but that doesn’t seem likely. Probably send out some resumes, because, see above.
Began writing what I think is a short story about a man from the future who more or less Quantum Leaps back into himself in the seventh grade and invents Hamilton. I think Lin Manuel will then leap back to confront him. I think a Terminator will have to show up at some point, too.
Sweatfest with Alex. 614 calories burnt. Had to earn my:
Chicken parmigiana from Dante’s.
Tried sharing a french fry with Sushi (our pug) Lady and the Tramp style. Immediately regretted it. As my wife pointed out, she has an “aggressive underbite.” Was lucky to escape with both lips.
