She never needed glasses: A poem

She never needed glasses
What she really needed was a pack of Marlboros
After a long day dealing with these four
Goddamn bozos

She could always pull more strange
Than the only other woman there
Who had a thing for nicely dressed guys
With ascots and perfectly coiffed hair

She only hooked up with a coworker
The one time and regretted it as
There wasn’t a trail of clues
Leading to her clitoris

His hip bones bruised her thighs
As she endured missionary for a short while
Because of his co-dependent friendship
He wouldn't even consider doggy style

Afterwards she let him take an edible
And make a tall sandwich in her kitchen
As he texted his dog friend to brag
That he was a zoinkin sexual magician

While she stayed in bed and lit a smoke
Wondering if this made her a fool
She exhaled her fumes up towards the ceiling
And seriously reconsidered dental hygienist school
