It’s Easter, and my wife and I are in the city alone again. But we kind of love spending holidays with just each other. I’ve said it before, I love my family and I wish I got to see them more often. But we have three dogs that don’t travel well and don’t treat our host’s houses with much respect as far as not peeing on carpets goes, and paying someone to watch them is per dog and can be quite expensive, so traveling has just gotten to be too stressful, both emotionally and financially.
They’re pretty cute, though.

So I’m working until about 2, and the wife is hosting bingo from 2-4, and then we’re headed home for a night of TV binging and nachos, which is our traditional holiday meal. I also popped some canned cinnamon rolls into the oven this morning for breakfast, which has become our traditional holiday at home breakfast.
